Young Ick "Busyrawk" Cha earns his name as a versatile multidisciplinary artist. He comes from a background of professional breakdancing, DJing, graffiti art. As a graffiti artist, he was inspired by the photography of New York City's 80s subway graffiti art captured and documented by Henry Chalfant and Martha Cooper in the book "Subway Art."
He ruptured his Achilles tendon in June 2022, and shifted his focus from dancing to murals and illustrations. It was since then he intensively studied the fundamentals with graphite pencil, and then translated that skill to aerosol paint. Aerosol paint is his preferred medium for his murals. He is able to paint murals on a variety of walls surfaces - both indoors and outdoors.
