Translation:
"The White Tiger stands over the mountains,
Ensuring this Chinatown's smooth sailing.
In all its greatness,
Watch over Chinatown, guarding its peace and health,"

Palestine Mural - No Justice on Stolen Lands لا عدالة على الأراضي المسروقة
40' x 13' Aerosol paint on cement May 2024
This is a not a pro-Hamas mural.
The purpose of this mural bring the audience view of the Palestine-Israel issue towards the bigger picture.
My pro-Palestine views, as shared by many Edmontonian pro-Palestine peaceful protestors, are about decolonization
and peaceful co-existence. By using the slogan “No Justice on Stolen Lands”, I am drawing the connection between
what is going on here on Turtle Island and what is happening in Palestine.
The land rightfully belongs to the people of Palestine, however the Israeli state, the more powerful party in this situation,
is abusing its power to encroach upon Palestinian territory and oppressing its people.
Yes, extremism is NOT the way to respond to this. However, dialogue is a must. Dialogue that is built on compassion
and understanding both sides. Understanding what colonization is the goal of this mural. It is not to say that Israel is
to be excluded from the land, however mutual respect needs to happen.
